|
While working with Impress, I can't see which slide is currently selected in left column, so can't operate with ease. Reason is that selected slide has thin light blue border which is slightly noticable. I've checked OO 2.2 on my PC - border is dark blue there.
Is there a way to setup color for this selection? I can't find somethng like it in options/customize dialogs. |

The light blue highlight is the default Aqua color. The first thing I would have tried is NeoOffice > Preferences (or Tools > Options) > NeoOffice > Appearance, but noe of the available options seem to apply to the highlight, and I'm not sure they have any real effect on the appearance of NeoOffice.
Some people here are using applications such as ShapeShifter; they could probably tell you whether these app enhancers/haxies can change the Aqua highlight color ... |

On my computer the color you are seeing is set not by Neo or OpenOffice but by the computer system settings.
Try going to System Preferences, and select Appearance and then set the Highlight color.

Technically that should use an Aqua focus ring, not the text selection color (highlight). Also, the context menus should use the menu selection color, not the text selection color. (And, of course, text selections should use the text selection color, not black )
Unfortunately, OOo is coded with the assumption that there is only one color for widget focus/text highlight/menu highlight, so you get the wrong color some places. Just another sad fact of life when dealing with ports of applications developed for less visually-rich and sophisticated operating systems

NeoOffice 2.1 is based on OOo 2.1; so you'd have to see if the dark blue line exists in OOo2.1 first. |
