Hello
I'm stunned about the new version (2.2.1) but one thing I can't understand:
Why are shapes as i.e. circles that coarse grained? Is there a posibility to make the shapes looking smoother?
thanks |

Is that on screen or when you print them? What thickness of line are you using? _________________ Ray Saunders

I think there's a post around here somewhere where Patrick talks about the fact that the OOo code doesn't know how to anti-alias....

This is very true. The way that the OOo code was designed has no concept of semi-transparent pixels. Anti-aliasing of lines is done by drawing some pixels partially transparent. As a result, I have to turn off anti-aliasing when drawing or else you get many stray dots on the screen if they move or resize a shape.
