|
Hi everybody...I'm a brand new NeoOffice user, and so far am very happy with it except for one thing. I can't figure out how to split the screen (horizontally) into two parts. This is a function I need to use every day in my work. Can anyone help?
Thanks!

You can do that in a Calc document:
Select a row
Go to the Window menu and click on Split
It's not possible in Writer. But you can open a new window of your document by clicking on the New Window item in the Window menu. Then you can work in two (ore more) windows in the same document.

If what you're asking is 'can I split the Writer screen into two parts like in MS Word?' then the answer is alas no - the OpenOffice code on which NeoOffice is based does not do this.

Well, I'm definitely bummed out about no split screen on the Writer screen, but I'll get used to opening a new window and doing it that way, I suppose. In any case, thanks for letting me know.
