Hi everyone,
If I get a chance this weekend, I'll put a few new icons up. Stay tuned.
Greetings.
Armando. |

Excellent. I'll wait a few days to see what Armando does, to avoid duplicating effort, then I'll try to fill whatever gaps are still there. |

Here they are. I'll create 16px versions and package my new stuff over the next few days.
Armando: I've also made 3 new versions of the icons for master templates (see below) since yours don't look much like the master document Finder icons. If it's ok with you, can we replace your toolbar icons with mine?

Looking nice .
Compared to the original set, you swapped the B&W and coloured icons for the transparency and gradient. Was that intentional? I would go for switching back the names of the icons. The green one feels more like a gradient to me.
Also, I cannot really tell the difference perhaps the transparency one could have an object of sorts on the icon field that fades instead of a black field that fades? I find this one hard to work on.
Best wishes,

It was intentional - The coloured box fades into transparency instead of white (you can't see that against a white background) but it doesn't work.
I've made transparency the b+w icon and changed the gradient icon so it looks like a rainbow swirl of colour in a box. You'll definitely be able to tell the difference now. |

Seems great to me.

Ah, it already makes a lot more sense if I envision it that way .
best wishes,

I've uploaded a new NeoOffice Aqua Elements package.
Download: http://www.pimley.net/projects/downloads/NeoOfficeAquaElements.dmg
Changes:
- 512px and 256px added to Finder icons
- Aqua Cursors folder included
- New icons, as requested by Armando
- Changes to several other toolbar icons
Armando:
The contents of the Akua folder is repeated in the folder images/res/commandimagelist/ with the correct file names for large and small icons. The entire contents of the images folder and all sub-folders should be injected into your images.zip archive.
Patrick:
The new Leopard Finder icons are in the usual place, Contents/Resources/. I've updated the intro.bmp and about.bmp images as well, but the only difference is that I updated the source files to Photoshop CS3 format and exported fresh bitmaps. The Cursors folder can be ignored - it's a duplicate of what I supplied to Ed a while ago for customised cursors. I've thrown it in with the other elements so that I can delete the separate cursors package.
Finally, I've changed the name of the disk image. I think this means you will have to change some lines in your build script. I got rid of the version numbering and called the package simply "NeoOffice Aqua Elements 3", which it will remain from now on. |

Thanks for pulling this together. I won't likely get around to pulling it into the build until this weekend so if you decide to make any last minute changes this week, feel free to do so.

Hello everyone,
Here's the update of the Akua set:
http://homepage.mac.com/punto_mac/projects/neo/downloads/Akua_2008Q3_Release.dmg
It's mainly a clean-up of some 16x16px images and the addition of the last missing 'global' icons (Daniel's included).
But there's the template icon bug again and I can't figure out how to fix it:
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

What is the size of that icon? I fixed the context-specific ones (e.g. you choose a new Writer document and the icon changes to a Writer-like icon) like this: the original icon size was 32px but I realised NeoOffice expected it to be 26px. The distortion is caused by NeoOffice scaling the bitmap to fit... using the scaling algorithm from MS Paint by the looks of it.
EDIT: I think The toolbar icon 3D Settings > Surface is not yet replaced. That green cube isn't one of yours, is it? |

If you are looking for icons to do, the Navigator icons on my 2.2.4 are still old ones as well .
Best wishes,
