For some reason I am not able to modify the name of a page style (under the "organizer" tab). The text box shows as if it can be changed, but when I type nothing happens. Any suggestions? |

Unfortunately, I have bad news. NeoOffice's underlying OpenOfffice.org code does not allow you to change the name of existing styles. I am not sure why they use a text field to display the style name as since it is not changeable, I would expect that they would display it in plain text.
The only thing that you can do is create a new style from an existing style and set the name to what you want before you save the new style.

Weird; this definitely works for me (3.3.1 with Patch-0 Test-3, 10.5.8/Intel).
Edit: Oh, I just noticed Joeyci was trying to change the name of a built-in style; that does fail here. But you can change the names of styles you create (and, therefore, should be able to make a new style that's a copy of the built-in style and change the name of that copy, should you so desire).
