i have the payPall receipt email from August'09, but trying to register
my login with this donation is not possible? how do i resolve that? |

I don't understand your question. If you were able to post in this forum, then our site identified at least US$25 in donations with the past year. Are you saying that the total amount of donations shown in your Profile is incorrect?

hi Patrick, right, my ability to post confuses me, too! and maybe there was just a temporary delay: the original symptom was that when i entered my email info into my profile i was told my contribution couldn't be found. but i look now and it shows it. so ... never mind! thanks for your help. - rik |

Your theory that there must have been a lag is probably correct as when we spliced code to calculate a user's total donations, we found that that calculation requires a lot of computing power for our servers. To keep the load on our servers down, we put in the calculation when only certain actions occur like logging in and posting so that may account for the lag that you saw.
