When opening a document that contains linked OLE objects, NeoOffice would automatically reload all linked OLE objects. In some cases, people do not want to reload a document's linked OLE objects so I have backported code from the LibreOffice engineers that prevents automatic reloading.
With the backported LibreOffice code, NeoOffice now displays an "Update all links?" dialog if when you open a document that contains linked OLE objects.
You do not need to wait until the next NeoOffice release to get this change. You can get this change now by downloading and installing one of the following test patches:
