I have a training manual in Writer format which I've been converting into slide show format. I've been copying and pasting between the two. But after I reopen the file on quite a few slide with graphics I end up with the "SvOutPlaceObject" icon. I found that if I go back and copy the graphic again and paste it then upon re-opening the graphics usually stick. But it's a pain having to go back and re-copy the graphics on nearly 160 slides. If that's the best workaround, then I'll stick with it.
Also with numbered bullet lists i.e 1,2,3,4... For some reason it'll change to : 1,0,0,0. I found that if I double click to edit the content, and put the cursor on a bullet line and exit out of editting then the list changes back to 1-4.
I know the SvOutPlaceObject seems like a common thing on OpenOffice, I haven't read a post on the numbered bullets though.
Can anyone shed some light whether these are known Oo bugs ?.
