When I click on the package installer starts and I see this msg:
This Installer needs to run a program to determine if it can be
installed.
When I click to continue I see this:
NeoOfficeJ cannot be installed on this computer.
Underneath the same line is repeated. What the...?
Please advise |

If you have BSD installed, try running Disk Utility/Repair Disk Permissions. Also, run the Verify Disk tool to check that the directory is okay. When ever I encounter this problem, it mis either because I have insufficient permission to install, I haven't run Repair Disk Permissions for a while, or there is some damage to the directory that needs fixing.
Also, check to see that you have sufficient HD space available for an installation. |

I too am having a similar installation problem with NeoOfficeJ/1.1 Beta Patch 10 Installer. I've tried it on an iBook 700 running OS X 10.3.6 and on a Blue and White running 10.3.8. In both cases I get an exclamation sign that gives the message when highlighted "You cannot install this software on this volume." In both cases I have BSD installed. Any ideas. |

Did you look at the tips at the following URL?:

Most likely, you either moved your Neo/J installation out of the /Applications folder or you have a pre-Beta Neo/J installation.
