Hi,

Quite strange : when I do File/New/text Document, I get a copy (named Untitled1) of a 10 pages document I wrote a few weeks ago. Sad

I must have done somethiong wrong. What must I do to get back a new blank doc like before ?

thanks in advance

You're needing to read up about setting the default template in the built-in help included in NeoOffice/J.

You seem to have inadvertently set this 10 page document as the default template.

Just follow the copy-pasted help text form help menu here:

Changing the Default Template

The default template contains the default formatting information for new text documents. If you want, you can create a new template and use it as the default template.
1.Create a document and the content and formatting styles that you want.
2.Choose File - Templates - Save.
3.In the New Template box, type a name for the new template.
4.In the Categories list, select "Default", and then click OK.
5.Choose File - Templates - Organize.
6.In the category list, double-click the "Default" folder.
7.Right-click the template that you created, and choose Set as Default Template.
8.Click Close.

To reset the default template:
1.Choose File - Templates - Organize.
2.Right-click (ctrl-click on Mac) a folder in the category list, choose Reset Default Template - Text Document.
3.Click Close.

Start there and if you're still stuck thereafter, feel free to come back here to tell us at which point and we'll try to help you out.
